After designing the Alchemy Plus cartridge and bulk boxes, the team asked me to create similar bulk boxes for their other cartridge lines.
I also helped move away from a dab box with a flap in the back/top to a more simple box without that part. This allowed for the dab boxes to fit better into a bulk box – better for distribution and doubled as a display box. You know, getting two birds stoned…

Retreats

After the uncertainty of how new tarrifs on metal goods would affect the cost of the unique tins that held Retreats gummies for many years, the WVA team and I worked together to select a different type of packaging and brand new design for the 10-pack gummy line. This redesign project also allowed for a brand style pivot, introducing flavor-based color palette and leaning more into the adventerous lifestyle and vacation aspect of the Retreats brand.
Before we produced any mockups, I talked to several bud tenders (and some customers) to learn how customers chose gummies. The results were mixed, but were what I expected – by flavor, brand recognition, effect or best time of use, ingredients, and some even shop by product size (how many pieces they need to eat). It was imparative that the new packaging have bolder indicators of all of these specifications. We made it much easier for customers to compare the entire Retreats line and easily choose the gummy that best fits their needs.

Willamette Valley Alchemy released a new line Enhanced Liquid Live Resin™ vape cartridges. I worked closely with them to create branding for the product line, packaging, and print materials announcing the release. Later, this led us into the need for a bulk box to make it easier for distrubution and doubled as a display box.
Even as their more accessible option, I didn’t want to compromise on the elevated experience all of WVA’s products bring. The Alchemy Plus product line branding was crafted to maintain a premium look and feel.
